Since 2003 NAFA has been listed in the disaster plan for 7 local counties. NAFA has disaster supplies, two trained field disaster teams, one base team and one large animal field team to assist with any level disaster in Northeast Arkansas. NAFA used its disaster teams to respomd to the Marmaduke Tornado, help with Katrina and Rita evacuees and to respond to the E.D.N.A.H. disaster in Northwest Arkansas.
